New HIPPEAS Organic Chickpea Tortilla Chips + Jalapeno Vegan Cheddar | 5 ounce, 6 count | Vegan, Gluten-Free, Crunchy, Protein Chips

So, so disappointed in these chips! My boyfriend and I love the Hippeas puffs in all of their flavors (I'm vegan and he is not), but we were both extremely disappointed in these chips. I surprised my boyfriend with a whole box of these (I think 6 big bags to a box) and we couldn't wait to try them. We opened them immediately and dug in only to be sorely disappointed by a stale, bland tasting piece of 'corn cardboard'. I really cannot recommend these 'chips' to anyone and I regret buying so many. Luckily my boyfriend is not a picky eater and although he agrees with my assessment, he's willing to soldier on and eat the rest of the chips. He has asked if we could make some dip to help the chips along, so hopefully the dip will make the chips more palatable to me.

Not bad. My family enjoys them but I find them to be a bit too salty that it takes away from the flavor so I eat something with it to down the saltiness.

These are really good but pretty salty.

We LOVE Hippeas in our house - but not these. These tasted like spicy stale cardboard. :( Don't waste your money.

Straight up sea salt is seriously straight up salt. Jalapeño has a subtle spice to it, but straight Up Sea Salt is Sooooooooooooooo Salty. Way too much salt I’m not sure if it’s a quality control issue or what but the chip just tasted like salt. My lips puckered and my taste buds protested. Otherwise the jalapeño cheddar is excellent.

I really REALLY wanted to like these. I was so excited to get the box full. We each opened a bag excitedly and ate a chip...it sucked all the moisture out of our mouths. Not enough salt, almost a stale texture. They were also no that crispy almost as if they were half baked or old. I got a refund, they were that bad. I love other Hippeas products...just not their chips.
