Honest Amish Original Beard and Body Soap

I wasn't expecting much. After all, it's just a bar of soap. But I will never wash my beard with regular soap or shampoo again after using this. Regular soap/shampoo did a nice job cleaning my beard, but it stripped it of all its natural oils and left my beard dry, wispy, and thirsty for beard oil and other conditioning products. This soap cleaned my beard, but left its natural oils and also added some "heft" to it, which made it appear thick and healthy without adding a bunch of shine (I don't like how beard products tend to make my beard really shiny). I haven't had to use additional beard product since switching to this soap. So while some might consider it expensive for a single bar of soap, it has actually saved me a ton of money because I don't think I'll be buying beard balm and oils nearly as often, if at all. Can't overstate how much I love this soap. It may put an end to my beard product journey for a while as I coast on cruise control.

This Beard Soap is amazing! My husband has been trying to train his beard and found that washing his face with regular soap was causing him to develop beard dandruff. Who knew?! So, I bought him this soap for Christmas. First, the scent is wonderful! You may get a little licorice at first, but that fades very quickly. It's a manly scent and very pleasant. We also love that it's made with natural oils, so it's great for overall skin health! You only need to use a little piece of it though, as it will melt away quickly on a shower shelf! Break off just a bit and keep the rest put away. I actually tried it out on my neck to see what it was like, and I have to say that I'd love to use this as a body soap for myself!!! His beard dandruff has disappeared, so I'd say this was well worth the investment! He gives it a thumbs up and says to keep buying it, so he's definitely a satisfied customer! :)

I accidentally bought this. But I was still happy with it even though I didn't want it. The price is well fitted for it. It has a nice mellow smell. My boyfriend uses it in the shower for his beard. It smells strong in the shower, but once it dries you can hardly smell it. It leaves his beard soft and shiny.

This is without a doubt the best soap I've ever used. I was never taught the virtues of a good quality soap, so when I bought this looking for something for my beard, I soon after tossed all the generic soap I had since I was never going to use it.The price might seem too high, if generic soap is all you're used to, but trust me that it's worth it. The scent is at a perfect level, where it isn't overpowering but is still noticeable. Leaves a good clean feeling after use too, and doesn't leave that horrible dry feeling after. It does require a bit more care though, if you keep it in the shower like I do you need to make sure it's kept out of running water.

I just started using this to clean my beard. I don't use it as a body soap, just for my beard. When I received it , it had a heavy black licorice smell to it. I got a little worried! To my surprise it toned down after use and cleans my beard really well. Does not dry it out and does not leave a heavy smell. Heck I don't think it leaves a smell in my beard period. Really like how well it lathers up, washes clean and my beard feels great. Glad I gave this a try. Its really helped my beard look healthier in appearance and feel. I haven't needed to use an oil or balm in my beard since using this. My beard is soft after use, so no need to use other products at this time. This is my new go to beard wash. I'm definitely a happy customer.

I have tried many different beard products. My beard is not super long, maybe about and inch and a half, and it is neatly groomed. My skin tends to be dry, so I am always looking for good hydrating products. There are several great reviews of Honest Amish, so I thought I would try it out. Its a little on the pricey side, but still affordable.The beard wash works great. Nice lather and cleans my beard really well. Best of all, no dry skin. The bar itself is a little awkward, so I cut it into 4 squares. It does not take much to get a really good lather. The only downside, and its a big one for me, is the smell. It smells just like black licorice. That is not a smell I enjoy. It does seem to fade as the day goes, but it is super strong at first. Thats too bad because this stuff works great. I will not be buying it again.

Just got it today just used it tonight and I do believe I have found my new beard wash! After trying several different products from various stores around my area including some stuff my wife got me from lush. The feeling I had after washing my face and beard with the Honest Amish beard and body bar was amazing and I took advise from a review I read about the size of the bar and cut it in half. I should have went with my gut feeling and started with this product 4 months ago when I started to grow my beard out again I can only imagine how much healthier it would be today.Great job and thank you for an amazing product at a very fair price.

I really love the soap. it lathers very well, which I wasn't expecting using a solid bar on a beard. I took the advice from another reviewer and cut the bar into 4 pieces. I feel like the soap is softer than most and I'm wondering how long the bar will last. The one thing I don't love is the scent. it's plain and boring and kinda bleh... however, the bar has the same scent as their beard balm, which works really well... so I'll deal with the bleh scent for a beard balm that is great.

I can't recommend this highly enough. I'm on my fifth bar!The scent is mostly Anise and Cloves, but you can pick up Cedarwood in there as well. It's a very pleasant scent. Not at all overpowering. Having read some of the reviews on here regarding the scent, I would say that if you are strongly averse t the smell of liquorice, then don't buy this. Otherwise, what's not to like!Regarding it's performance, it's the best beard wash that I've used. That's obviously subjective. But for me, it's great. I also use it on my body, and it leaves my skin soft and silky. My wife approves very much!I highly recommend this soap bar. I'm going to give their 'Slick' version a try next. Looking forward to it!

Non ho resistito ed ho utilizzato il prodotto appena arrivato .Sorprende subito la fragranza che emana e beh, dopo l'utilizzo avevo la barba detersa in modo delicato , non secca e morbida come mai prima d'ora.Ho utilizzato altri prodotti anche più costosi , nessuno mi ha soddisfatto come questo .Consiglio assolutamente.

muy buen producto, tiene un olor muy masculino, el unico problema es que si deja la barba algo seca .

I've been testing different soaps lately, and after one use of this one I'm in love with it! Makes my bear so soft and looks great! I used it to wash my face too and my girlfriend said she never seen my face so clean before! It's a must!

I almost couldn't believe I was spending £13 on a bar of soap when I bought this, but I'm so glad I did and I'm confident you will be too.I use this every 2-3 days on my beard and the bar has lasted 3 months. I used to use pine tar soap but always felt that it was a bit harsh on the beard and stripped it completely.This stuff is excellent! Leaves the beard soft and since using it I've had no dry skin, like literally none. Afterwards use (and after every shower) i use a bit of moisturiser, then beard oil, comb it through and job done.I'm totally sold on this stuff and will use nothing else from this point forward.
