Dexter-RussellS142-9SC-PCP 9" Utility Knife - Sani-Safe Series

This knife is extremely sharp and a must have in my kitchen for big jobs. Cuts through a head of cabbage like butter! Seems to be sturdy and well made.

I wanted to buy a swanky knife block set but these Dexter Russell commercial grade knives are impossible to give up. They perform so remarkable well time and again.

There's no other utensil out there quite like this all-purpose serrated kitchen sword. It's perfectly balanced, and will saw through pretty much anything. I also own fancier and more specialized knives, but in practice I grab this thing most of the time. I used one working in a kitchen years ago, and have never found another knife quite like it. I was due for a replacement, and am glad they're still available here!

This knife replaces the exact same knife that had served me well for 45 years. Theses knives last for ages and are very substantial.

A friend of ours had this knife on his boat and used it to cut through solid pieces of frozen bait. It worked like a charm! I bought several sizes and liked them so much I bought several more. They are so easy to clean and have a solid plastic handle that has a great grip. The blade is serrated but cuts very neatly through anything. I have no complaints about these knives and would buy more in a heartbeat.
