I have been wanting an airbrush painting boothe for ages, primarily to get the painting fumes out of the way, but also to keep all else clean and stop errant paint finding its way onto walls, books and tables.I had looked on YouTube for videos about making your own boothe and extractor unit, but after considering the cost of everything you have to purchase, plus the time and effort required to construct it, I decided buying one was an all-around better prospect.Pretty much all of them are made by the same company, with only a few actual different products being available, so I simply looked for the cheapest option, with a great customer review.It only took a few weeks to arrive and was heavily packaged and secure. The unit itself was really easy to open up and assemble, but as for being mobile.... well... if you want to go through the hassle of including all the fasteners and re assembling it, it's your funeral ! Mine has been erected, and is staying put.It came with all the necessary hoses, connectors and pipes, and the led lights were an added bonus, they are extreamy bright and it makes seeing what you are painting a doddle to do.The extractor is more than powerfull enough and the length of extractor hose is long enough to go from one side of a 13 foot room to the window where the hose is fed out into the air.The price was the cheapest on Amazon, the service was excellent and the entire service was great. My only niggle is that putting it together is a complete faff !

I have used this a few times now and cant fault it. It is great value for money. Easy to assemble and although the fan is noisy, it is at an acceptable level for me. Very happy with it. I use it when airbrushing scale models and is ok for most 1/48 scale models and smaller. Anything on the larger side may have to be painted in parts although some smaller 1/32 models would fit.

Ultimately this device proved its worth, its cleverly designed, it assembles relatively easily and does its job well, but initially wasn't without its frustrations.The first assembly proved most frustrating, partly because of the kit itself and partly because of me!The device "folds out" of the "suitcase" as described, but is a tad awkward to clip the side pieces together, and inserting the lighting produced a few "grrrs"! And then there's the exhaust system!My main frustration was fixing the plastic sleeve to the rear of the unit. How it was meant to fit was obvious, but making it do so properly was impossible. Ultimately slight easing of screws with a screwdriver enabled the unit to click into position as intended, but it shouldn't have been necessary with a little more planning on the designers part.Fitting the exhaust port to the end of the hose securely also proved seemingly impossible until I established I was screwing it on to the pipe the wrong way!In use the unit works well; my first job involved the use of a quite large piece of kit (an assembled boiler, firebox and cab of a 1:35 scale steam engine which all but filled the "booth" - and to be sprayed black!). In many ways it was an unfair test, use of the turntable for instance was impossible.However the results were ultimately good, and any faults in the paintwork were mine alone. Not a scrap of excess paint ended up anywhere outside the booth, which proves its worth.I didn't use the lights, and to be honest I doubt I ever will, where I will work is well lit enough in daylight hours. However the lights do work very well indeed and even help stabilize the "structure".The extraction fan is a lot louder in use than I'd anticipated, but quite bearable - its rated at 45 db, but sounds more like 60 or 70 to me (loud conversation).I also couldn't bear the thought of saturating the new plastic with black paint so used cling film on the exposed areas of the booth. The area of the filter near where the extraction fan is situated was the only area appreciably covered in paint after the session, which proved it was working.All in all a worthwhile purchase, priced about right.

This is a fantastic kit and I love it.But...As others have said it's a shame that the lights aren't on a separate switch. I love the light and use it when cleaning the airbrush. But having the fan on at the same time is so annoying. I can put up with the fan whilst I'm spraying but wish it was on a separate switch to the light. How hard would it have been to have put in a three way switch! On-Fan/Light-Light only. The other minor niggle is that the light bars don't fit in the box when it's packed up. The design of the box is wonderful how it folds in on it's self. If only they left a bit of room to chuck in the lights! even the power supply has it's own little storage compartment.Just niggles but it was so close to being a fantastic brilliant bit of kit instead of just great.

Excellent bit of kit. The led light bars are a tremendous help when spraying. Probably a bit louder than I expected, but given the paint particles it is collecting on the filter, it needs to have some power behind it. Overall, great value for money.

for the cost of £65 i cannot praise this item enough. within 5 minutes of it arriving it was set up and working. the LED lights are great and it extracts brilliantly. perfect for the hobbyist. i have seen the same ones for nearly twice the price.

It is good thickness of material assembled well and work great have sprayed 4 models and no smell of paint in the house.

The media could not be loaded.  Arrived next day, well packaged.Went together very easy.Bought because I am just starting out airbrushing.As other people have mentioned the fan being noisy, I inadvertently bought a speed Controller switch. This has been fitted and I can reduce the speed of the fan to decent noise level and does not really effect the fan pulling power. Because before it was like a leaf blower.Now I can operate the lights separately.
