Lost the remote to my LG mini-split. Purchased this as a replacement and was a little hesitant to believe it was a Universal remote. Put batteries in it and pressed the power button, my unit turned on immediately. So happy not to have to get up every time I want to turn it on and off and it is small and sleek looking.
