So far so good.Durability: They chewed off the label and took it to their sputnik, but aside from that it doesn't seem destroyed.Easy to clean: It's fabric, so naturally you have to take it out and wash it now and again. The clips it comes with are quite stiff so taking it out of the cage was hard work, so I replaced them for mini carabiner instead so that it doesn't damage the coating on the cage wires.Sturdiness: can make this tight or loose fit, the straps are quite long so in my cage I have to clip it round some bars to make it fit better.Rats thoughts: naturally who knows! But they seem to like it, they like to sit in it to watch me, or to eat snacks... Thus its currently covered in seed shells and discarded bits of food they aren't fans of! Great for a ramp to get across the cage

It’s a fantastic good quality hammock and all my rats simply love it. The material is thick and soft and the hole in the middle brings a lot of joy to my boys who love poking their heads out :) it is quite narrow though, way more than I expected. As I had two baby rats at the time I thought it will be cool just for them but turns out my adult rat can also squeeze in and quite likes chilling there.

Just brilliant and well constructed, still in one piece months after starting to use.Bought this for the 'poorly cage' as soon as it was put in, my poorly baby (female rat, one of six) was in it and fast asleep.She reviewed this as Excellent and thanked me with rattie kisses.Glad I bought two so could exchange for washing. Going to have to get more as now in the big cage where all six rats sometimes snuggle up in it.

I know this is for chinchillas but I could not help it I had to to get her at first she attacked it and now she absolutely loves set to the point that she will not come out off it she must feel really safe she absolutely adores it she's getting all her food and her bedding and putting it in there that's got to be a good sign I think it makes her feel safe with the fluff inside I highly recommend this I know it's the chinchillas but hamster seem to like it whilst smudge does and that all that matters at the end off the day that she fill safe and well and happy

My two rats love climbing and cuddling inside this tube. It's nice and soft and I've been able to put it through the washing machine at least five times now (inside out) to give it a good clean. Rats will of course nibble the fabric, and I was worried that they would destroy it within a week, however it is still going well with only minor nibbles. For the price I'd definitely buy another one as it lasts a lot longer that I thought. it would.

Great product which arrived much more quickly than advertised. It's snug and comfortable, and my baby ferret jumped straight in, and still hasn't emerged, hours later! The hole in the top means there's 3 points of easy entry.She's tiny, but it'll still be suitable when she's full-grown. I only got it today so obviously haven't washed it yet, but it looks easy to clean.The only (minor) criticism I have is that the straps are very long. So long that it doesn't suspend in mid-air BUT I just tied a knot in each strap, and now they're an ideal length.Good price, too!

these hammocks are fabulous!! i bought 3 various ones in this range and they are perfectly fit for purpose, my daughter has 3 pet rats and they love their hammocks, i keep a spare for washing purposes and rotating different hammocks around. Would definately buy this item again, as you probably guess, the rats like to chew and they will chew through the fabric eventually wearing out the hammock till it is no longer fit for purpose, however, given the value and low price of these hammocks, i really don't care how often i have to renew them! highly recommend this product for pet rats and ferrets.

This is way too small for any medium-large ferrets, especially hobs, and I don't see many jills liking it either unless they are quite small or micro-ferrets. My 3-month-old hob kits couldn't even fit through this, and they preferred actually to stick their heads just inside to store food in it. Then the fuzzy interior lining started to smell like food even when none was there, and they chewed through it. It lasted a week before being dumped in the bin. The huge hive that this same company makes, however, is quite large and spacious for 2 ferrets to snuggle in and has lasted them over a month. They are starting to form a hole at the back, as they love digging and scratching in it sometimes, but in my opinion it's much more worth it to get the hive or a hammock than this tunnel for ferrets.
