I play guitar like a madman. I have twenty-two of them, and I play numerous different styles of music. I play finger-style using my nails and using finger picks. I have some jazz picks that are about an eighth of an inch thick and thin picks that are barely a tenth of that and everything in between. I love trying different ways of producing sound on the guitar, and I have often been intrigued by the idea of metal picks, but they have typically been too harsh. I think that was because they were stamped metal and the edges were not treated in any way to smooth the cut surface.These are different. In spite of being metal, in some sense it almost feels like they hit the strings softly. They produce an interesting and musical ringing tone without any harshness. There are two each of three different metals, or at least three different colors, and I don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but I really think I get a different feel and hear different sound characteristics with each color. I'm glad I bought them to try.I suspect you should think about the music you play and the sort of sound you are shooting for to some degree, but if you are open-minded and have time to experiment and play in different ways to see what you come up with, I think these are a great addition to the armamentarium, and I know they will last forever.

I love the looks, but they are a little thicker than what I usually like to play with. They get a really warm sound and I like something a little grittier. These might be a little easier on the strings. I like the look so much I'm using one as a keychain.

These guitar picks are trash. Hey he metal slapping and slashing at the string make a terrible noise. Whenever you pick a string you can hear the guitar pick scraping the string. NEVER BUY THESE THINGS!
