They simply work, I used these for a modified volume control on a rc controller.

Works great for breadboard/experimentation (5-star from that standpoint) and at a great price point. However, the rotary is threaded but does not include matching nuts to support mounting to a faceplate. Needed to purchase different potentiometer to support face plate mounting for application I was working with.

Do you like to install things and then have to take apart what you built? Then , you will love these! These are absolute garbage . They can’t even handle 5 V connected to an Arduino Uno . Some of them fail instantly ...some of them fail within a few days and I am down to only two of the 10 that are still working and one of them is starting to get erratic and I would not recommend these to anyone , for anything . Added bonus: the nuts that were included in the package don’t fit the threads . I contacted the seller and complained about that immediately upon opening the package and the seller said they would send the proper nuts and they never sent the proper nuts .

I ordered these potentiometers and all of them were defective . All 3 lead were shorted to each other. I will not purchase any more items sold by this company. I tested these “pots” against others from other companies and verified the malfunction, using a multimeter.

Don’t believe a positive review. More than 50% of these were either dead- or had huge dead spots. Returned to purchase high quality pots elsewhere.

I accidently ordered the 1K instead of the 10K, but they worked fine in my circuit. The of the threads and nuts aren't great, but work. The connections are PC board type connections which work great with the dupont prototyping type connectors during prototyping until it's time to solder them. These work fine and I'll buy them again when needed.
