Today I tried to install this hot water stem and found that it was actually the cold water stem, but had been packaged as a hot water stem. I'm 12 days past the return deadline.

its was okay
Its was a great buy it was just that it turn opposite from my othere knob so now one turns up and the other turns down to shut off water so i think it was a hot water valve instead of a cold...but im pleased with it

Fixed the leak, but the top stem is shorter than the older part. Have to go out and get a longer screw to put the handle back on.

As others have experienced, package number was correct for hot water stem but a cold water stem was included.
